About Us
Social media followers turned real-life friends, we quickly realized a shared passion for creatively impacting Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We both saw a need for a digital marketing agency that helps businesses grow their brand presence and maximize their full potential. After a few years and many late-night talks over wine, The Swell Studio was finally formed.
We combine our creative eye and marketing savvy to provide strategic, beautiful work according to your business needs. We are passionate about helping our community grow and thrive, and believe that our work can help the Coastal Bend and beyond.

Emma Phillips

Straight off the farm in Eagle Lake, Texas, Emma set off to Austin where she graduated with a degree in Creative Advertising from the University of Texas. She and her husband, Chase, headed for the Coast after they finished their studies and haven't looked back since.
Being creative is second nature for Emma. With a background in graphic design, art, and photography, she has always craved a creative role. She gained invaluable experience working in marketing in the vacation rental industry, but it quickly became clear that there was a need for a creative agency in the Coastal Bend. She is proud to now use her expertise to help a wide range of businesses reach their full marketing potential.
Emma loves traveling, spending time with her husband and Australian Shepherd, Roe, and swimming in the sunshine. Her happy place is on a boat in Rockport
Wendi Myers

A self-proclaimed original 'Coastal Cowgirl', Wendi was born and raised in Corpus Christi where her weekends were either spent on the beach or on a horse. After years of working at a large law firm in the Coastal Bend she decided she was looking for a more creative outlet and started "Ocean Drive Designs", an Instagram account turned apparel and graphic design business.
Wendi started sharing on social media as a way to connect because of her extroverted nature. Finding joy in sharing the beauty and fun of her day to day, Wendi realized the true value social media can provide for creating a community. Flash forward to 2023, she has helped numerous small businesses realize that same value.
Wendi would start her day with coffee and end with wine... sprinkle in some beach time with her weenie dogs, Kiwi and Tuna, and you've curated the perfect insta post.
Emily Beauchamp
Social Media & Marketing Assistant | @eabeau
Born in Corpus Christi and raised in the small town of Taft, Emily made her way back to the Coastal Bend after graduating from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Communications and a minor in Early Childhood Education. Coming home felt right, and now she channels her love for people and creative storytelling into helping brands shine at The Swell Studio.
Before joining the team, Emily gained hands-on experience in marketing and event planning, quickly becoming known for her eye for detail and ability to bring a vision to life. In college, she was the go-to banner painter for everything from sorority events to birthdays – and she still creates custom pieces on the side.
Fun fact: she won Grand Champion in photography at her 4-H show in 4th grade (and yes, she’s still holding onto that win).
Her ideal day? Poolside with a piña colada, her boyfriend, and a couple of dogs in tow. ✨
